is an eugeroic drug generally prescribed to treat narcolepsy, made by the
pharmaceutical company Cephalon. It is not a typical stimulant and is
marketed as a "wakefulness promoting agent." With a doctor's
prescription, you can buy modalert with different commercial
trade names: Modafinil,
Provigil (USA), Vigicer (Canada), Sparlon, Alertec. Modalert
is the cheapest one, by far. Off-label Modalert Use? While modalert is FDA-approved only for narcolepsy, many physicians are prescribing it for patients who do not suffer from one of these conditions but exhibit similar symptoms. It is estimated that 90% of the modalert use in the United States is "off-label".
